Rebrand for Group representing interims

09 December 2009

An organisation that represents interim managers and other freelance professionals has unveiled a new identity following a year-long brand review process.

From December the Professional Contractors Group will be known as PCG, the voice of freelancing.

The decision to re-brand came as the organisation prepared to celebrate its tenth anniversary.

Over the last ten years PCG has come a long way from the single issue, campaigning organisation founded in 1999 to combat the IR35 tax law.

Today it has matured into a professional organisation that supports its growing base of 18,800 members by engaging with Government and influential bodies to ensure freelancers' voices are heard.

As a member-led organisation, the PCG consulted with its members throughout the re-branding process. According to the organisation, feedback has been positive and supportive as members recognised the significance of developing a brand that will help the PCG to move forward with its objectives on their behalf.

John Brazier, Managing Director of PCG said the messaging and communications will begin to look and sound different, but the PCG's core principles and ethos remain the same.

The re-branding programme has been provided to create a platform for PCG's distinctive voice and Brazier said he was confident that its voice will be heard louder and clearer in the next decade and beyond.
