Interim managers and other freelance professionals are being asked for their views on a wide range of issues ahead of a special day that will help celebrate their contribution to the UK economy.
The Professional Contractors Group (PCG), the representative body for interim managers, freelancers, contractors and consultants in the UK, has launched its Spirit of freelancing campaign to capture thoughts and ideas from freelancers in the run up to National Freelancers Day on Monday, November 23.
The PCG is urging its members and other freelancers to get involved and send the organisation their views on what freelancing is all about, what it means to them and how they would define it.
Freelancers are also being encouraged to send an anecdote, a short story, a one-liner, a few words or a single word, a photograph or drawing - humorous or serious - to capture the spirit of freelancing.
John Brazier, managing director of PCG said that as National Freelancers Day approaches, the organisation was asking freelancers and client organisations to let it know what freelancing means to them.
The PCG would like as many people to get involved to mark the Day and capture the spirit of freelancing, he added.
Interims and other freelancers should email their thoughts or anecdotes to spirit@pcg.org.uk
