Event highlights benefits of interim management

18 December 2009

Outplacement consultants are being invited to a free event aimed at helping them to understand the benefits of interim management as a career, so that they can better inform their candidates.

According to the Interim Management Association (IMA) Institute, increasing numbers of previously permanent employees are turning to interim management and are spurred on by the challenge, the attractive rates of pay and the opportunity of making a real difference quickly on a range of assignments.

To help outplacement consultants advise candidates on the opportunities of a career in interim management, the IMA Institute is hosting the two-hour event in central London on January 14.

The session will seek to explain the benefit of the IMA Institute workshops for executives and senior managers.

More than 1,400 executives and senior managers have already attended one of the IMA Institute's full-day workshops over the last three years.

Delegates come from both the public and private sectors and from all functions and disciplines.

A number of oversees participants have taken part in these workshops, seeking to gain knowledge and skills to either break into the UK market or to launch into interim management in their own countries.

Further information, including booking details are available by emailing david@ima-institute.com.
