My client a local authority based in London is looking for an experienced Senior Primary Advisor to work with primary schools to deliver a curriculum that meets the needs of the 21st century learners and to raise standards in all schools.
Main duties
Main Responsibilities include:
- taking the lead school improvement role in the delivery of the national strategy,
- challenge, monitor and evaluate the performance in primary schools,
- to work with the national strategies to co-ordinate, monitor and evaluate the work of other school improvement staff
- to be responsible for the delivery of the ISP and other similar national strategies programmes
Key skills
Key skills and experience:
- detailed knowledge of the legal requirements of being a Headteacher,
- understanding of primary schools and their relationships with local government, and the links between regional and national government,
- an understanding of the Children's Act and Education Acts and The Every Child Matters agenda
