My client a local authority is looking to recruit a senior manager to commission and develop comprehensive and innovative services for older people and people with physical disability.
Main duties
You will lead the development, production and review of three year care group commissioning strategies for the LA and the NHS. You will also support, develop and maintain positive and constructive partnerships with users, carers and statutory, voluntary and private sector providers and advise the PCT Board and Council Executive on the requirements placed on the organisations arising from national policy developments, for example the Older People's National Service Framework.
Key skills
You will have a proven track record in all aspects of the commissioning process, multi agency working , addressing inequalities and managing a substantial budget. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with all stakeholder groups.
