My Local Government client is seeking an experienced Recruitment and Retention professional to develop further and implement the measures to ensure the recruitment and retention of under represented groups.
Main duties
The role will involve:
- Developing the recrutiment and retentionaction plans for the hard to fill posts
- Develop initiatives including campaigns and recruitment fairs
- Develop effective relationships with local and national groups
- Manage the outreach prgrammes to raise awareness of the opportunitites within Local Government amoungst the disadvantadged groups
- Develop business cases and bid for funds as appropriate to ensure resources are available
Key skills
The successful candidate will have:
- A proven track record of recruitment, selection and assessment solutions within a large organsiation
- Experience of working within a similar role within a Local Government organisation
- Expereince of analysing and interpreting a wide range of infomration and identifying key issues
- The ability to produce MI to supprot proposals
- Expereince of inititating and uspporting change within an organisation.
