My client a local authority based in London is looking for a Programme Manager-Self Directed Support to lead on the roll out across all adult service users.
Main duties
Main responsibilities include:
- set up, management and delivery of a Self Directed Support Programme across all adult social care services
- leading a team of project management staff and professional services consultants,
- lead and manage the delivery of programme objectives and key deliverables,
- lead the management of the programme budget and ensure that the budget monitoring and planning information is prepared
- act as the main point of contact for the programme
Key skills
Skills and experience required:
- excellent knowledge of relevant legislative, policy and good practice in social care or health,
- successful track record in delivering large scale and complex programmes,
- in depth understanding of the issues and approaches involved in managing large and complex projects
