You will be a key player in a project that aims to establish clear, value-for-money and joined-up delivery arrangements within the social care sector. A service delivery framework has been developed and now needs to be implemented.
Main duties
Other aims of the project include:
?Creating a pattern of service contracts that delivers care packages for service users
?Making savings to the budget for re-investment through joint commissioning into new services
?Laying foundations for a joint commissioning approach for the re-let of contracts
Key skills
It is essential that candidates applying for this role have experience of social care procurement. Candidates without this area of experience cannot be considered.
Knowledge of commissioning is desirable.
