The post holder is responsible for autonomous management of the work of clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure the quality of reception, clinical services and service delivery within the practice. You will have responsibility for the management and strategic planning of the practice.
Main duties
The role covers a multitude of areas- some of which are:
?PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT, CLINICAL GOVERNANCE & ORGANISATIONAL
?PRACTICE ISSUES
?PATIENT AND COMMUNITY SERVICES
?INFORMATION AND MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY
Key skills
Experience required:
?A sound understanding of organisational, professional and Personal development and how change is effected is essential.
?Knowledge of the local and national healthcare economy/environment, current and future developments and their implications for the practice.
?Knowledge of the legislative framework of the NHS and its application to primary care.
?Knowledge of characteristics that effect health and health care in the inner city.
?Change management experience.
