Interim Senior Management Accountant - NHS

My client is a large NHS Trust based in Birmingham. Due to a restructure and impending permanent recruitment they are currently looking to recruit to the key role of INTERIM SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT. This role can be foreseen to last for 3 - 6 months.

Main duties

Working closely with the Deputy Director of finance and supervising a small team you will provide comprehensive financial management support and advice to managers within the Trust. Standard management accounting responsibilities will include producing monthly management budget reports, monthly monitoring and forecasting and attending monthly budget meetings to discuss financial performance and providing financial advice to a range of budget managers and budget holders.

Key skills

You will be a qualified accountant with extensive experience within the NHS. You will be in a position to commit for a minimum of 3 months.
