My Central Government client requires a Contracts & Procurement Manager to work as part of the Procurement Team, helping them to achieve their savings and efficiency targets.
Main duties
Reporting to the Head of Procurement you r role will involve the management of various contracts and Service Level Agreements across a number of categories including professional services, consultancy, travel and cleaning. You will also be involved in the review of current contracts.
Key skills
Required for 3 months, you will have an excellent eye for detail and be able to work well under pressure.
You will have worked in a procurement or contract management role within the public sector and have a strong working knowledge of public sector procurement.
You will have a strong customer focus and a developing awareness of future trends and market opportunities whilst ensuring the ability to contribute to 'best value' when carrying out service reviews.
