Interim Procurement Director

£600 to 800 per day

As Director, you will support the start-up until long term management arrangements have been made, managing the development of the business plan, leading the initial programme work and facilitating the mobilisation of the unit.

Main duties

Key Duties:
?Lead the development of the business plan for the Joint procurement Unit
?Work with the procurement teams to collate baseline data and identify savings available from different collaborative procurement initiatives.

Key skills

Candidates applying for this role must have extensive project management experience within a procurement environment and have had experience of working in a similar role. You will have significant experience of procurement and category management and will be able to demonstrate an affinity with the ethos of the public sector and be able to quickly engage with the challenges of this environment.
