Interim Manager- Safeguarding Adults

My client a local authority based in East Midlands is currently preparing for CSCI inspection and they are looking to source an interim strategic manager to steer a programme of change to its Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Services.

Main duties

Main responsibilities include:
- Offer specialist oversight and lead on improvements to the adult protection service to meet standards expected by CSCI
- Implement a work model for the adult protection unit and social care staff to follow
- Advise on national standards and ensure internal processes conform to these, modifying as required,
- Lead on improvements in recording and data capture of adult protection work on the electronic social care record (RAISE)

Key skills

You need to have local government background an experience accross improving adult protection services and safeguarding.
