Head of Strategy & Projects

My client based in London is looking for an Interim Head of Strategy and Projects within the Strategic Commissioning Directorate to lead the development of a clinical, financial and service development strategy, drawing on the expertise of all relevant parts of the organisation and external bodies and ensuring strategic integration across all work streams.

Main duties

?To drive the strategic direction of the Trust, ensuring that strategies reflect national and local priorities and maximise opportunities for collaboration across organisational boundaries and between sectors.
?The post holder will ensure that Commissioning Division priority work streams are co-ordinated and will establish mechanisms to monitor the delivery of agreed outcomes. This will include audit and evaluation of work streams as agreed.

Key skills

?Experience of development of high level strategic plans for approval at Trust Board level.
?Experience of managing and influencing change with clinical staff in primary/ secondary care, including GP and hospital clinicians.
?Experience of partnership working and stakeholder involvement processes and media handling.
?Experience of management of complex projects in political environment.
?Degree or equivalent senior experience combined with sub-degree qualifications.
