Head of Direct Service Organisation

My client a local authority based in North London is looking for a Head of Direct Service Organisation to run the department through a period of change.

Main duties

Main responsibilities include:
- run a big DSO
- building and technical services: heating, plumbing
- repairs and maintenance

Key skills

Skills and experience required:
- technical background as there is an £18 million commissioning and £12million contracting programme to deliver
- Asset management experience is required
- RICs or MCIOB qualification
- Commercial and construction sector experience and knowledge
- ability to operate an Asset Management division
