Financial Controller

A Financial Controller is required for a Local Authority, leading a team of technical professionals you will provide financial analysis and build strong relations with Senior Managers.

Main duties

? To provide monthly management and board reports including variance analysis.
? Co-ordinate financial operations, including financial reporting mechanisms to provide forecasting, annual budgets, monthly close processes, and longer term planning and year end closure.

Key skills

The Financial Controller will be a (CIPFA) qualified Accountant or equivalent with at least three years post qualification experience, You will be commercially focussed, innovative and have a demonstrable ?can-do? attitude along with strong change management skills and experience of driving change agendas.
