Domestic Violence Co-ordinator

Are you an experienced Domestic Violence expert with current knowledge of the National Domestic Violence and Domestic Abuse agenda? My client, a local authority based outside London are seeking a Domestic Violence Co-ordinator to work within the Community Safety Department.

Main duties

This role will primarily involve the co-ordination and evaluation of 4/5 case studies to establish and highlight key partners that are not fulfilling their statutory obligations and compliance. Key partners will be PCT's, Housing, Voluntary Sector organisations, Lobby Groups and Charities.It will involve suggesting resolutions and highlighting the implications of continued non compliance.

Key skills

The ideal candidate will have experience in a local authority environment, possibly with some background in the voluntary sector and would have worked in a similar role in the past.
