My Housing client is seeking an Interim Manager to be the principal internal advisor to the organisation within the marketing and communications remit.
Main duties
The role is covering maternity leave and encompasses:
- Delivering on the implementation and design of the intranet system
- Establish the marketing and communication objectives
- Direct, advise and manage staff within the marketing activities
- Manage the communications budget ensuring the spend is within the agreed limit
- Report to the Directo of Corporate Services and Planning on the marketing performacne and effectiveness.
Key skills
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have a proven track record of management experience within communications
- Have a strong portfolio of producing and presenting press releases
- Have experience of both budget and resource planning
- Up to date knowledge of legislation relating to communications
- Evidence of managing media response to events/issues
