Commissioning and Contract Manager

£200 to 225 per day

The post-holder will lead the contract negotiation and performance monitoring for secondary and tertiary health care services from a portfolio of local and non local healthcare providers on behalf of the PCT.
You will also lead for performance management, including the overall monitoring of NHS Plan acute service targets and locally agreed priorities.

Main duties

?Leading the negotiation of the annual SLAs and contracts and producing regular progress reports for the PCT:
?Advising on the impact and delivering on systems to implement key national policy such as Payment by Results, Choose and Book, Practice based Commissioning.

Key skills

?NHS management experience with knowledge and awareness of inner/outer city health issues.
?Commissioning or contracts management experience, in a health or social care setting
?Experience in managing substantial budgets.
