My client a local authority based in London is looking for a BSF Education Director to work with schools, other LA and BSF colleagues,key stakeholders and partners.
Main duties
Main responsibilities include:
- promote and secure innovative education strategies,
- enable and articulate a clear strategic framework for the development of personalised learning,
- to be the lead education professional in the BSF team ? to link with other LA teams/consultants, schools and key stakeholders and partners and manage and co-ordinate the education / inclusion workstream
- To work as a member of the BSF Team, contributing to the LA's BSF project management
Key skills
Skills and experience required:
- senior LA education adviser experience and/ or successful headteacher experience (in more than one school), with a successful track record of leading education transformation at a strategic level within an LA and / or a local partnership
- a track record in raising achievement and increasing inclusion, including with schools in challenging circumstances / schools causing concern;
- experience in leading and co-ordinating processes
