My client is looking for an experienced school improvement manager to povide excellent leadership for the Area School Improvement Team and to evaluate evidence, challenge and support the Area Team and schools, to ensure measurable improved outcomes for all children and young people.
Main duties
The main duties include:
- manage the Area Team, overseeing delivery of a range of school improvement and intervention services
- have a clear overview of all school improvement activities in the Area relating to children and young people
- encourage and enable collaboration between schools and groups of schools, and particularly Area Improvement Partnerships
- work with schools individually and in partnerships to develop effective commissioning of services
Key skills
The ideal candidate will have an extensive senior management experience in school and/or LA as well as substantial and effective teaching experience and a knowledge and understanding of current education legislation and DCSF guidance.
