My client a local authority is looking for Adult Social Care Policy Manager to identify and research the needs of adults in the borough, with regard to social care and well being, including commissioning research, managing research contracts and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and in line with the client brief.
Main duties
The tasks you would need to take on are:
- Taking over responsibility for the action planning and implementation of Joint Strategic Needs Assessment
- Leading on developing processes to embed the JSNA in future planning and commissioning processes, including making it accessible to partners, processes for update and review.
Key skills
You need to have previous experience in an adult social care policy or related policy environment and a working knowledge of legislation regulations, guidance and standards relevant to planning and commissioning in Adult Social Care setting.
