AD of Commissioning - Mental Health Service

£550 to 600 per day

The post holder will work collaboratively and in partnership with stakeholders at all levels to commission mental health services in line with need, national and local targets/priorities and developments. You will ensure effective interpretation and implementation of policies across organisations/agencies so that mental health services commissioned are patient-centred, effective, efficient, safe, good quality and value for money.

Main duties

Main duties and responsibilities:
?You will take responsibility for effectively commissioning, and further developing, mental health services for the PCT.
?Lead, develop, implement and manage comprehensive commissioning strategies for mental health services, which incorporate both prevention and treatment through the re-design, modernisation, development and integration of services.

Key skills

To apply for this role you must:
?Significant experience in commissioning mental health services and understanding local needs.
?Experience of working in a complex, multi-agency environment.
?Strong leadership and effective interpersonal skills.
?Ability to initiate and influence high level partnerships and engage with a broad range of stakeholders.
?Ability to resolve conflict and competing priorities and deliver successful outcomes.
